Former Oregon TE Colt Lyerla says booster promised him house, car
Former Oregon tight end Colt Lyerla said a booster promised him a house and a car if he signed with the Ducks, according to SB Nation.
Lyerla said he initially wanted to sign with USC, but an Oregon booster promised him "a house, a car, all these things" in exchange for his signature.

The tight end said he and his mother lived on "$600 a month" when he was in high school and that his mother pressured him into signing with Oregon because "They're going to take care of you."
He said never received any benefits from the booster.

Lyerla withdrew from school last October and declared for the NFL draft. He was arrested for possession of cocaine three weeks later. He was not drafted but later signed with the Packers as an undrafted free agent.
The Packers released Lyerla on Aug. 26.
