Michigan offensive guard Kyle Bosch is taking an indefinite leave of absence from the team, the program announced Wednesday.
Bosch is leaving the team for personal reasons, head coach Brady Hoke said in a statement, and for an undetermined amount of time.
“We ask that his privacy be respected at this time," Hoke said. "We wish him the best and look forward to his return.”

A sophomore, Bosch started three games and played in five total as a true freshman last season. The 6-foot-5, 303-pounder played one snap in Michigan's season-opening win over Appalachian State last Saturday.

Michigan next plays Saturday at Notre Dame.
