Tech had a 300-yard passer, 100-yard rusher and 100-yard receiver in the same game for the first time since 2011 against Texas A&M.

The Red Raiders have scored in 208 consecutive games dating to Oct. 25, 1997, the second-longest active streak in the Big 12 Conference behind Kansas State’s 217 straight games. The all-time record is 376 games, an active streak Michigan that started in 1984.

Texas Tech has won four straight bowl games, the longest streak in school history.

Matt Wallerstedt is entering his second season as the Red Raiders’ defensive coordinator, the first time since 2009 that Texas Tech has had the same defensive coordinator in consecutive seasons.

The Red Raiders have a two-way player this year. Senior running back Kenny Williams, the team’s leading rusher a year ago, is starting at linebacker but will also see some time on offense.
