Point guard Jalen Brunson verbally commits to Villanova
Jalen Brunson, a highly touted point guard from Lincolnshire, Ill., announced Wednesday that he has verbally committed to Villanova.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pounder is the No. 15-ranked player in the class of 2015, according to the recruiting website Rivals.com.
Brunson, who also drew scholarship offers from Michigan, Michigan State and Kansas, among other programs, had narrowed his choices to Villanova and Illinois.

Brunson is the third player in the class of 2015 to commit to the Wildcats, joining three-star power forward Tim Delaney and three-star shooting guard Donte Divincenzo.
The Wildcats went 28-4 during the 2013-14 regular season and earned a No. 2 seed in the NCAA Tournament before being eliminated in the third round by UConn.
