Faried: 'Massively disrespectful' to say U.S. will struggle vs. bigger teams

Kenneth Faried thinks the suggestion that Team USA will struggle against bigger teams in the FIBA Basketball World Cup is "massively disrespectful."
Team USA beat Mexico on Tuesday to advance to the semifinals of the tournament, where it will face Lithuania on Thursday. If the Americans win that game, they could face a championship matchup with Spain, which features the seven-foot Gasol brothers and 6-foot-10 Serge Ibaka.

The 6-foot-8 Faried has led Team USA in rebounding (8.1) and ranks second in scoring (13.0) over seven games. Other forwards who have averaged at least 13 minutes per game are DeMarcus Cousins (6-foot-11) and Anthony Davis (6-foot-10).
Faried, 24, averaged 13.7 points and 8.6 rebounds for the Nuggets last season. Denver is reportedly negotiating a contract extension with Faried. If the two sides do not agree to a contract extension by the end of October, Faried will become a restricted free agent next summer.
Quote even better upon hearing clearer audio. "Massively disrespectful," @KennethFaried35 says. "We'll just have to see tomorrow, I guess"
