Miami redshirt freshman quarterback Kevin Olsen was charged with possessing a stolen driver’s license and driving under the influence of alcohol, according to the Associated Press.
Olsen, 19, is being held on a $6,000 bond at Turner Guilford Knight Correctional Center in Miami after being booked at 4 a.m. Monday morning, reports Local10.com.
Olsen was reportedly suspended for the team’s season opener against Louisville for failing a drug test after being in contention to be the team’s starting quarterback.
Olsen has not played this season after true freshman Brad Kaaya won the starting job. Olsen was ranked as the No. 12 pro-style quarterback in the 2013 recruiting class of 2013 by Rivals.com.
