Former College of Charleston coach Doug Wojcik will receive a $400,000 settlement from the school in the wake of his firing, according to the Charleston Post and Courier's Andrew Miller.
Wojcik was fired last month amid allegations of physical and verbal abuse of players. He had three years and $1.2 million remaining on his contract. He led the Cougars to a 38-29 record in two seasons at the school.
At the time of Wojcik's firing, the school said it was done with cause, meaning it believed it didn't have to pay him the remaining value of his contract.
