Baylor Bears vs. Iowa State Cyclones

The Iowa State Cyclones (1-2) earned their first win of the season in Week 3, before taking a week off. They are now back in action on Saturday night when they host the No. 7 Baylor Bears (3-0) and their high-powered offense. Baylor has yet to score less than 45 points this season.

Week 3: Iowa State 20, Iowa 17

Sam B. Richardson had his best outing of the season, with 255 yards and two touchdowns. Iowa State won the game on a 42-yard field goal from Cole Netten with two seconds remaining on the clock. 

Week 2: Kansas State 32, Iowa State 28

Iowa State held a 28-13 lead near the end of the third quarter before Kansas State rattled off three straight touchdowns (two failed two-point conversions) to complete the comeback. Sam B. Richardson threw for 185 yards, a touchdown and an interception.

Week 1: North Dakota State 34, Iowa State 14

Iowa State was the latest victim of FCS powerhouse North Dakota State. Iowa State managed just 253 total yards, while the Bison recorded 506 yards of total offense. Quarterback Sam B. Richardson failed to find the endzone, instead tossing two interceptions.

Week 3: Baylor 63, Buffalo 21

Bryce Petty returned to the field in a big way, with 416 yards and four touchdown passes. Petty found five different wide receivers in the passing game, with three of those players going for more than 100 yards. KD Cannon recorded six catches for 189 yards and a touchdown, Jay Lee hauled in nine passes for 136 yards and two touchdowns, and Lynx Hawthorne caught seven balls for 123 yards and two scores. 

Week 2: Baylor 70, Northwestern State 6

Seth Russell threw for 438 yards and five touchdowns in his first start of the year in place of an injured Bryce Petty. Freshman wide receiver KD Cannon was Russell's favorite target, with six catches for 223 yards and three touchdowns. Johnny Jefferson rushed for 107 yards and a touchdown, while Silas Nacita rushed for 104 yards and two touchdowns. 

Week 1: Baylor 45, SMU 0

Baylor outgained SMU 574-67 in the first game in the Bears' new stadium. Bryce Petty threw for 161 yards and two touchdowns in limited action before leaving with a back injury, while Shock Lindwood led the way on the ground with 89 rushing yards and a touchdown.
