Ex-Michigan QB Michael Taylor rips UM athletic department

Former Michigan quarterback Michael Taylor unleashed on the UM athletic department on Tuesday, attacking everything from the recent Coca-Cola-tickets-promotion that was pulled this week by the school to the coaching search in 2011.

Former Michigan quarterback Michael Taylor unleashed on the U-M athletic department on Tuesday, attacking everything from the recent Coca-Cola-tickets-promotion that was pulled this week by the school to the coaching search in 2011. 

Speaking on the "Ryan and Rico" show on WMGC-FM in Detroit, Taylor -- who played QB for the Wolverines from 1986-89 -- talked about the football program there in general, calling it a "propaganda football team, telling people how great we are" and shared his thoughts on why he doesn't buy tickets to games anymore.

"I never lost a game for two years in the Big Ten, never one, being a starter. I'm the only quarterback in Michigan history to that. … And this is how I get treated. ... Pardon me if it sounds a little abrupt or it sounds like Michael Taylor is very irritated, but yes, I am very irritated the way myself and brothers have been treated over the course of years."
