Week 4: Bye

Week 3: Ohio State 66, Kent State 0

J.T. Barrett tied the school record for passing touchdowns in a game with six. Running back Curtis Samuel led the way out of the backfield with 100 yards on 15 carries with two scores. Ohio State finished the game with 628 total yards compared to Kent State's 126. 

Week 2: Virginia Tech 35, Ohio State 21

The Buckeyes dropped their first game of the season at home against Virginia Tech, 35-21. J.T. Barrett went 9-of-29 passing with three interceptions. The Buckeyes tied the game early in the fourth quarter, but they were unable to take the lead and Virginia Tech prevailed. 

Week 1: Ohio State 34, Navy 17

In his debut, redshirt freshman J.T. Barrett threw for 226 yards and two touchdowns to lead Ohio State to its 25th consecutive regular-season win. Ohio State's defense limited Navy to only 20 passing yards, though the Buckeyes allowed 370 rushing yards. 

Cincinnati 

Week 4: Cincinnati 31, Miami (OH) 24

Quarterback Gunner Kiel finished with 271 yards, four touchdowns and two interceptions. Tion Green led the way out of the backfield with 73 yards on 15 carries, and Shaq Washington finished with 71 yards on seven catches. 

Week 3: Cincinnati 58, Toledo 34

After two consecutive bye weeks to open the year, Cincinnati won its opening game in Week 3 against Toledo, 58-34. Gunner Kiel threw for 418 yards and six touchdowns in his debut. Hosey Williams was the leading rusher with 103 yards on 14 carries, and Mekale McKay racked up 175 yards on nine catches with a touchdown.
