Notre Dame, Texas A&M agree to home-and-home series
The Notre Dame Fighting Irish and Texas A&M Aggies have scheduled a home-and-home series that will take place in 2024 and 2025, the schools announced Thursday.
The Irish will travel to College Station, Texas, on Aug. 31, 2024, and the Aggies will head to South Bend, Ind., on Sept. 27, 2025.

The two schools have not played each other since a two-game series in 2000 and 2001. Notre Dame leads the series 3-2, but Texas A&M won the most recent game.
The first three meetings between the two were in the Cotton Bowl.
"When you think of tradition-rich football programs, Texas A&M and Notre Dame are at the top of the list,” Texas A&M director of athletics Eric Hyman said. “We are delighted to have them back on the schedule again for the first time since 2001."

Notre Dame has also recently announced future home-and-homes with Georgia and Ohio State. In March, Texas A&M announced one with UCLA.
