Oregon center Michael Chandler sidelined with knee injury

Oregon center Michael Chandler is being held out of practice because of a knee injury, men's basketball head coach Dana Altman said.
Chandler has not participated in any of the team’s offseason drills.
Chandler transferred to Oregon from Northwest Florida State after leading that team to the National Junior College Athletic Association national championship game in 2013. He committed to Oregon last October. Chandler averaged 6.2 points and 2.7 rebounds in 27 games with Northwest Florida State last season.
"Michael has been out. He's been nursing a knee," Altman said, according to the Oregonian. "So we haven't seen much of Michael."
Chandler was a top 50 recruit out of high school in Indianapolis, averaging more than 19 points and 12 rebounds as a senior. He committed to Louisville, Xavier and Central Florida, but he didn’t academically qualify after deciding to go to UCF.
