Georgia Bulldogs vs. Missouri Tigers

A pair of top 25 teams square off in an important SEC East matchup Saturday at Memorial Stadium/Faurot Field in Columbia, Mo., when No. 13 Georgia (4-1) takes on No. 23 Missouri (4-1). The Bulldogs are 2-1 in SEC play and have won their last three games, including a 44-17 win over Vanderbilt last week. The Tigers bounced back from their first loss of the season with a conference-opening 21-20 win at South Carolina two weeks ago.

10/04: Georgia 44, Vanderbilt 17

Todd Gurley rushed for 163 yards and two touchdowns on 25 carries and also tallied his first career pass attempt, a 50-yard completion to tight end Jeb Blazevich. Cornerback Devin Bowman made his first career interception on a Stephen Rivers' fourth-down pass and returned it 63 yards for a touchdown.Hutson Mason's touchdown pass to Chris Conley late in the first quarter was Georgia’s third one-play scoring drive of the season.

09/27 Georgia 35, Tennessee 32

A 20-yard touchdown pass from Hutson Mason to Nick Chubb put the Bulldogs ahead 21-10 in the second quarter, and Georgia secured the win when fullback Quayvon Hicks recovered an onside kick with 2:14 to go. Running back Todd Gurley rushed for a career-high 208 yards and two touchdowns on 28 carries, the most rushing yards by a Georgia player since Garrison Hearst had 246 against Vanderbilt in 1992. Defensive end Josh Dawson added a score when he recovered a Tennessee fumble in the end zone for a touchdown. 

09/20: Georgia 66, Troy 0

The shutout was Georgia’s first since a 38-0 win at Auburn in 2012, and their 66 points were their most since putting up 70 against Northeast Louisiana in 1994. Sony Michel ran for 155 yards and three touchdowns against 0-4 Troy.

09/13: South Carolina 38, Georgia 35

Georgia lost to SEC rival South Carolina after kicker Marshall Morgan missed a potential game-tying field goal with 4:24 remaining, allowing the Gamecocks to run out the clock. Morgan had set an SEC record earlier in the game by hitting his 20th consecutive field goal, but he  missed his next two attempts.

08/30: Georgia 45, Clemson 21

Running back Todd Gurley had his second career 100-yard kickoff return, scored four touchdowns and set a school record with 293 all-purpose yards. The Bulldogs defense shut out Clemson in the second half, holding the Tigers to 15 yards on 22 offensive plays.

Missouri

09/27: Missouri 21, South Carolina 20

Missouri won its seventh straight road game with a victory at South Carolina. Tailback Russell Hansbrough’s third touchdown of the game, a 1-yard run with 1:36 left, gave the Tigers the come-from-behind win. Defensive end Shane Ray had two sacks, his third two-sack game of the season. His eight sacks are already tied for eighth all-time on Missouri’s single-season list.

09/20: Indiana 31, Missouri 27

Missouri was upset by Indiana after a game-winning 3-yard touchdown run by D'Angelo Roberts with 22 seconds left. The Tigers had taken the lead with 2:20 remaining on a 40-yard field goal by Andrew Baggett. 

09/13: Missouri 38, UCF 10

Quarterback Maty Mauk entered the game with eight touchdown passes -- tied for the highest total nationally -- and finished by adding four more. After trailing 10-7 early in the second quarter, Missouri came back to score 31 unanswered points. Defensive lineman Josh Augusta's interception extended Missouri's takeaway streak to 47 consecutive games, the best in the nation. 

Week 2: Missouri 49, Toledo 24

Maty Mauk threw for 325 yards, including a career high five touchdowns, and ran for an additional score. Bud Sasser finished with 121 yards on five receptions and also forced a fumble after Toledo's Jordan Haden intercepted a Mauk pass. 

Week 1: Missouri 38, South Dakota State 18

The Tigers won their 13th straight season opener against South Dakota State. Senior Marcus Murphy had 204 all-purpose yards: 54 rushing yards, 20 receiving yards, four yards on punt returns and 129 yards on kickoff returns, including a 100-yard touchdown return. Missouri improved to 14-0 all-time against FCS teams.
