KBTX in College Station, Texas is reporting that he will be forced to sit the first four games of his senior year in the 2015-16 season.
The news comes after it had been determined that Jones participated in two closed scrimmages for SMU before he transferred in January to Texas A&M. He averaged 14 points and seven rebounds per game for SMU in his sophomore season.
