Baylor unveils new men's basketball uniforms
Baylor's new uniforms that the men's basketball team wear this season won't cause you to adjust your television set, as the team went back to lighter tone of their school colors.
The school revealed the new uniforms that the Bears will wear this season, a stark departure from the "hi-lighter" uniform the team sported at various times last season.
The uniforms are made by Nike. Last year's were made by adidas. The home uniforms will be white with green letters on the front and back. The road uniforms will be black with green lettering or green with gold letters.
• Ten teams that will lean heavily on a single player
Last season, the NCAA prohibited the team from featuring their school yell “Sic ‘Em Bears,” on the back of their uniforms, as the NCAA rule book states that the “neutral zone” of a player’s jersey can only have contain a player’s name or an institutional name mascot.
Baylor, who was picked sixth in Big 12 Preseason Poll, opens the season at home against McNeese State on Nov. 14.
