Four-star guard Shake Milton announced Wednesday that he has verbally committed to SMU and coach Larry Brown, according to Scout.com

Milton, from Owasso, Oklahoma, is ranked as Rivals' No. 66 player in the Class of 2015. 

The guard chose the Mustangs over Indiana and Oklahoma, and also held offers from Baylor, Illinois, Texas A&M and others.

Milton was named Gatorade's Player of the Year in Oklahoma last season after averaging nearly 28 points, 6.3 rebounds and four assists a game, according to Scout. 

Listed at 6-foot-4, 190 pounds, Milton is a member of the MOKAN Elite AAU team. 

Milton becomes the third 2015 commitment to SMU, joining three-star guards Sedrick Barefield and Jarrey Foster.

The Mustangs went 27-10 last season, losing by two points to Minnesota in the NIT finals.
