Report: Mississippi State's Prescott 'fine' after wearing walking boot
Mississippi State quarterback Dak Prescott is "fine" after wearing a walking boot following Saturday's win over Kentucky, Pat Forde of Yahoo Sports reports.
Prescott, who is No. 2 on SI.com's Heisman Watch, wore a boot after the Bulldogs beat the Wildcats 45-31 on Saturday. Prescott threw for 216 yards, one touchdown and one interception, while adding 88 yards and another two scores on the ground.
After the game, he said told reporters he was not worried about the injury, according toThe Clarion-Ledger's Michael Bonner.
"Oh yeah, this is just precautionary," Prescott said.
The quarterback wouldn't elaborate anymore.
"It's just, I got a boot on it," Prescott said.

Bonner also reported that Prescott injured his foot during practice earlier this season, but that he did not miss any time with the injury.
Prescott, a junior, has completed 60.3 percent of his passes this season for 1,694 yards, 15 touchdowns and five interceptions, while also rushing for 664 yards and 10 touchdowns.
Mississippi State (7-0, 4-0) is ranked No. 1 in the country and hosts Arkansas on Saturday.
