Georgia Tech, South Florida announce home-and-home series

Georgia Tech and South Florida have scheduled a home-and-home series for 2021 and 2022, both programs announced on Thursday.

Georgia Tech and South Florida have scheduled a home-and-home series for 2021 and 2022, both programs announced on Thursday.

The Bulls and Yellow Jackets will square off in Atlanta on Sept. 11, 2021 and Georgia Tech will face South Florida in Tampa on Sept. 10, 2022.

The two teams have never played.

“Georgia Tech has a tremendous college football tradition and the Atlanta area is home to many passionate USF alumni,” South Florida director of athletics Mark Harlan said in a news release. “We are very excited as well to host the Yellow Jackets in Tampa, which is another example of the great programs that our heading into our city over the coming years.”

South Florida is 3-5 (2-2 AAC) this season while Georgia Tech is 6-2 (3-2 ACC).
