Stanford Cardinal vs. Oregon Ducks

Stanford will face Oregon in Eugene on Saturday in a Pac-12 matchup. The Cardinal are 5-3 this season and are coming off a 38-14 home win over Oregon State, while the Ducks are 7-1 and have won three in a row, including last week's 59-41 road win over Cal. 

Oregon and Stanford are in first and second place in the Pac-12 North, respectively.

Stanford

10/25: Oregon State 14, Stanford 38

Stanford outgained the Beavers 438 to 221 and held Oregon State to just 12 rushing yards. Kevin Hogan threw two touchdowns and two interceptions, and Christian McCaffrey and Jordan Pratt each caught a TD. The Cardinal defense sacked Beavers QB Sean Mannion six times. 

10/18: Stanford 10, Arizona State 26

Stanford was shut out in the first half and was down 20-3 at one point in the fourth quarter. The Cardinal managed just 76 rushing yards and lost two fumbles against the Sun Devils. Stanford's lone touchdown was a 1-yard run by Patrick Skov, who had just three years on the day. 

10/10: Stanford 34, Washington State 17

Stanford bounced back from its loss to Notre Dame with a victory over Washington State.The Stanford defense bested the high-powered Washington State offense, holding the Cougars to just 266 total yards. Kevin Hogan threw for 284 yards and three touchdowns and Stanford outgained Washington State by 217 yards on the ground.

10/04: Notre Dame 17, Stanford 14

Stanford suffered its second loss of the season during Week 6 to Notre Dame. The Cardinal allowed an Everett Golson touchdown pass with one minute to go in the game to give the Irish the victory. Kevin Hogan threw for just 158 yards with no touchdowns and two interceptions. Stanford finished with just 270 yards of total offense. 

09/27: Stanford 20, Washington 13

Stanford earned its first Pac-12 victory this season over Washington. Kevin Hogan threw for 178 yards and one touchdown with one interception. Remound Wright was the top performer out of the backfield with 63 yards on 14 carries. The Stanford defense carried the team to victory, limiting Washington's offense to just 179 total yards. 

09/13: Stanford 35, Army 0

The Cardinal defense recorded its second shutout of the season's first three games. Wide receiver Devon Cajuste caught a career-high three touchdowns for Stanford. Running back Barry Sanders ran for a career-high 92 yards on nine carries.

09/06: USC 13, Stanford 10

The loss snapped Stanford's 17-game home winning streak, which was the longest in the country. The Cardinal outgained USC 413-291 but had two turnovers. Kicker Jordan Williamson missed two field goals.

08/30: Stanford 45, UC Davis 0

After offseason shoulder surgery, wide receiver Ty Montgomery returned a punt 60 yards for a touchdown and had five catches for 77 yards and a touchdown. The defense held UC Davis to just 115 total yards. Quarterback Kevin Hogan averaged 12.8 yards per attempt and had three touchdowns.

10/25: Oregon 59, California 41

Marcus Mariota threw for five touchdowns and one interception across 326 yards in the win. The Ducks had a 24-point second quarter that included a touchdown on a 58-yard punt return by Charles Nelson. Royce Freeman rushed for two touchdowns, while Dwayne Stanford and Pharaoh Brown each caught two touchdowns. 

10/18: Oregon 45, Washington 20

Oregon extended its winning streak against the Huskies to 11 games. The Ducks gained 554 yards on offense, while their defense limited Washington to 317 yards and forced two turnovers. Marcus Mariota completed 24 of 33 pass attempts for 336 yards and two touchdowns. Royce Freeman led the way on the ground with 169 yards and four touchdowns. 

10/11: Oregon 42, UCLA 30

Marcus Mariota led the Ducks and continued to assert himself as a top candidate for the Heisman Trophy. Mariota threw for 210 yards and two touchdowns while rushing for 75 yards and another two scores. Running back Royce Freeman eclipsed the century mark for Oregon, with 121 rushing yards and another two touchdowns. Oregon was outgained by UCLA, but two Bruins turnovers played a big part in the final point differential. 

10/02: Arizona 31, Oregon 24

Oregon was one of many top-ranked teams to fall on the first weekend of October. Arizona mounted a touchdown drive with only 2:54 remaining to take the lead. Marcus Mariota threw for 276 yards and two touchdowns, while Royce​ Freeman led the way on the ground with 85 yards. Two fumbles from the Oregon offense halted the Ducks' momentum.

09/20: Oregon 38, Washington State 31

Oregon survived an upset bid from the Cougars and came away with its fourth straight win to start the season. Heisman candidate Marcus Mariota threw for 329 yards with five touchdowns and no interceptions. Two receivers finished with over 100 yards in the win: Devon Allen had 142 yards and Keanon Lowe finished with 104. Each caught two touchdowns. 

09/13: Oregon 48​, Wyoming 14

In the team's third win of the season, Mariota completed 19-of-23 passes for 221 yards with two touchdowns and no interceptions. Byron Marshall rushed for 80 yards and a score, while Mariota added 71 yards and two scores on the ground. The Ducks finished the game with 556 yards of total offense. 

09/06: Oregon 46​, Michigan State 27

The Ducks beat the defending Rose Bowl champions at Autzen Stadium. Oregon's offense racked up 491 yards on the Spartan defense. Mariota finished the game with 318 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Devon Allen had 110 yards on three catches with two scores. 

08/30: Oregon 62, South Dakota 13

Oregon opened up its season with a win over FCS-opponent South Dakota. Mariota finished the game with 267 passing yards and three touchdowns, while Byron Marshall added 90 rushing yards. Marshall was also the Ducks' leading receiver, finishing the game with 138 yards on eight catches with two touchdowns.
