Virginia wide receiver Miles Gooch will miss the rest of the season after undergoing knee surgery, the school announced on Monday.
Gooch, who currently ranks third on the team with 371 receiving yards and one receiving touchdown, suffered the injury in an Oct. 25 loss to North Carolina. The senior caught two passes for 25 yards over two games last season.
With Gooch and redshirt freshman Andre LeVrone missing (shoulder) Saturday's loss to Georgia Tech, reserve quarterback David Watford lined up at wide receiver.
The Cavaliers 4-5 (2-3 ACC) play at No. 2 Florida State next Saturday.
