Wisconsin Badgers vs. Purdue Boilermakers
The No. 25 Wisconsin Badgers (6-2) play the Purdue Boilermakers (3-6) on Saturday in West Lafayette, Ind. Wisconsin shutout Rutgers last week to run its winning streak to three games on the strength of its running game. Purdue enters the game with a three-game losing streak after falling to Nebraska last week.

11/1: Wisconsin 37, Rutgers 0
Wisconsin shut out Rutgers for its third-straight victory. Corey Clement and Melvin Gordon combined for 259 rushing yards and four touchdowns to lead the Badgers offense. Wisconsin's defense held the Scarlet Knights to just 139 yards of total offense.
10/25: Wisconsin 52, Maryland 7
The Badgers outgained the Terrapins 527-175 to cruise to a blowout victory in Madison. Melvin Gordon had 22 carries for 122 yards and three touchdowns as Wisconsin rushed for 311 yards and five touchdowns. Wisconsin's run defense held Maryland to just 46 yards on 28 carries and didn't allow a point until the final minute of the game.
10/11: Wisconsin 38, Illinois 28
Wisconsin rebounded from its second loss of the season by defeating Illinois. Melvin Gordon led the way with 175 rushing yards and four touchdowns, and Corey Clement added 164 yards and another score as the Badgers racked up 401 yards on the ground. Wisconsin outgained Illinois 498-288 in the win.
10/4: Northwestern 20, Wisconsin 14
Joel Stave threw three interceptions as the Badgers suffered their second loss of the season. Wisconsin never held a lead against the Wildcats, falling behind 10-0 at the half. Despite the loss, running back Melvin Gordon had one of his best performances of his career, rushing the ball 27 times for a career-high 259 yards and a touchdown. Stave replaced struggling quarterback Tanner McEvoy at the half.
9/27: Wisconsin 27, South Florida 10
In the Badgers' third win of the year, Melvin Gordon once again had an outstanding outing on the ground, finishing with 181 yards on 32 carries with two touchdowns. As a team, Wisconsin has run for 250 yards or more in three of the first four games. The Badgers have now won 32 consecutive non-conference home games, the second-longest active streak in the country.
9/20: Wisconsin 68, Bowling Green 17
The Badgers set a Big Ten record with 644 rushing yards, breaking the old mark of 573 set by Michigan State at Purdue in 1971 and tied by Michigan against Northwestern in 1975. Melvin Gordon became just the sixth Wisconsin runner to score five rushing touchdowns in a game. Tanner McEvoy set a Badgers record for most rushing yards in a game by a quarterback with 158.
9/6: Wisconsin 37, Western Illinois 3
The Badgers won their 19th straight home opener. Wisconsin recorded a safety on the opening kickoff, its first safety since 2008 against Minnesota. The Badgers held Western Illinois to 34 total yards in the second half.
8/30:LSU 28, Wisconsin 24
Wisconsin’s 268 rushing yards were more than LSU surrendered in any game last season. Melvin Gordon had 138 yards and scored a touchdown on 17 carries, the 11th 100-yard rushing game of his career. Rafael Gaglianone’s 51-yard field goal was Wisconsin' first of 50-plus yards since 2009. Wisconsin led 24-7 before surrendering 21 unanswered points.
Purdue
11/1: Nebraska 35, Purdue 14
Purdue lost its third-straight game and fell to 1-4 in Big Ten play. Austin Appleby completed just 18 of 46 passes for 216 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. The Boilermakers lost despite outgaining Nebraska 340-297 and winning the turnover battle 3-2.
10/18: Minnesota 39, Purdue 38
The Boilermakers squandered a 38-29 third-quarter lead and lost on a Minnesota field goal with just under five minutes to play. Rasheem Mostert had 115 yards on the ground as Purdue ran for 298 yards.
10/11: Michigan State 45, Purdue 31
A fourth-quarter rally by the Boilermakers fell short as they lost to the Spartans. Akeem Hunt scored two of his three touchdowns in the fourth quarter, and Purdue cut Michigan State's lead to 38-31 before a late pick-six put the game out of reach. Danny Anthrop had nine catches for 133 yards to lead the passing attack.
10/4: Purdue 38, Illinois 27
Purdue won its first Big Ten game of the season by defeating Illinois 38-27 on the road. Akeem Hunt led the charge with 30 carries for 177 yards and a touchdown as the Boilermakers racked up 349 rushing yards and four touchdowns.
9/27: Iowa 24, Purdue 10
After jumping out to a 10-0 lead in the second quarter, the Boilermakers offense stalled as they lost to the Hawkeyes. Danny Etling completed 11 of 26 passes for 61 yards and an interception as Purdue only managed 156 yards of total offense.
9/20: Purdue 35, Southern Illinois 13
Purdue began the game by converting two turnovers into touchdowns. Quarterback Danny Etling threw for two touchdowns, and the Boilermakers were able to generate 35 points.
9/13:Notre Dame 30, Purdue 14
Opposing quarterback Everett Golson threw for 259 yards and two touchdowns while also rushing for 56 yards and a touchdown. The Boilermakers committed three turnovers and failed to gain 300 yards of total offense during the neutral-site game in Indianapolis.
9/6:Central Michigan 38, Purdue 17
Turnovers and penalties marred the day for the Boilermakers. Purdue committed three costly giveaways in the game, and the Boilermakers were whistled for seven penalties, allowing CMU to hold onto the ball for much of the contest. Quarterback Danny Etling led Purdue in both passing and rushing.
8/30: Purdue 43, Western Michigan 34
Raheem Mosbert gained 146 yards on 22 carries, including an 11-yard touchdown run in the third quarter. Danny Etling completed only half of his 38 pass attempts, but Purdue did not commit a single turnover in the game, and the offense was able to control the ball for more than 29 minutes despite several quick scoring drives.
