The reason for the postponement is that Montana State is encountering "travel issues," according to a news release. Montana State's flight was reportedly canceled.
Reports suggest that a severe storm in Buffalo could dump as much as eight feet of snow around the city. The Jets-Bills game will not take place Sunday in Buffalo as scheduled.
The release indicates the schools could try to play the game at some point later this season.
Buffalo is 2-1 this season with wins over South Dakota State and UT-Arlington, while Montana State is 0-3.
