Mississippi State Bulldogs vs. Ole Miss Rebels
The stakes in this year's Egg Bowl are especially high, as Mississippi State looks to secure a spot in the College Football Playoff. The Bulldogs bounced back from a loss against Alabama with a 51-0 blowout of Vanderbilt last weekend. Ole Miss was shutout against Arkansas for its third loss in four games.

11/22: Mississippi State 51, Vanderbilt 0
The Bulldogs gained a staggering 283 rushing yards but no Mississippi State player had more than 66 yards. Six Mississippi State rushers gained at least 30 yards, led by Brandon Holloway with 66. Dak Prescott ran for 30 yards and scored a rushing touchdown. He also completed 16 of 21 passes for 193 yards and three touchdowns. The Bulldogs finished 7-0 at home for the second time in program history and set a school record for margin of victory in an SEC game.
11/15: Alabama 25, Mississippi State 20
The Bulldogs, ranked No. 1 at the time, suffered their first loss of the season in Tuscaloosa. Mississippi State outgained the Crimson Tide 428-335, but quarterback Dak Prescott threw three interceptions, including one in the red zone. The loss dropped the Bulldogs from No. 1 to No. 4 in the College Football Playoff rankings.
11/8: Mississippi State 45, UT-Martin 16
The Bulldogs piled up 520 yards of total offense to blow out the Skyhawks. Dak Prescott completed 14 of 23 passes for 206 yards and two touchdowns, and he added 54 rushing yards and another score on the ground. Ashton Shumpert had a 59-yard touchdown run en route to 82 rushing yards on just four carries.
11/1: Mississippi State 17, Arkansas 10
With the win, Mississippi State got off to an 8-0 start overall and 5-0 SEC start for the first time since 1999. The Bulldogs held an opponent sackless for the first time this season. Quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 331 yards, marking the first 300-yard game of his career and the first time a quarterback has thrown for 300 yards under sixth-year head coach Dan Mullen.
10/25: Mississippi State 45, Kentucky 31
Mississippi State tailback Josh Robinson carried 23 times for 198 yards and two touchdowns, and quarterback Dak Prescott threw for 216 yards and a touchdown. Kentucky quarterback Patrick Towles scored a four-yard rushing touchdown with less than three minutes remaining in the fourth quarter to narrow the deficit to seven, but the Bulldogs added another score to seal the win.
10/11: Mississippi State 38, Auburn 23
Mississippi State forced two turnovers during a 59-second stretch of the first quarter and scored 21 points in the first quarter. Bulldogs quarterback Dak Prescott completed 18 of 34 passes for 246 yards, one touchdown and two interceptions. He also rushed for 121 yards and two scores. The Bulldogs and Tigers each had four turnovers with five interceptions being thrown in the game.
10/4: Mississippi State 48, Texas A&M 31
Mississippi State vaulted itself into the national title conversation with a convincing win over the Aggies. Dak Prescott entered the Heisman conversation with 268 yards passing and two touchdowns. On the ground, he had 77 yards and three more scores. The Bulldogs racked up 559 yards of total offense on the Aggies.
9/20: Mississippi State 34, LSU 29
Mississippi State pulled off a stunning win in Death Valley in its opening SEC game of the season. In the Bulldogs' victory, Dak Prescott threw for 268 yards and two touchdowns. He also added 105 rushing yards on 22 carries and another score on the ground. Wide receiver Jameon Lewis finished the game with 116 yards on five catches with a score. At the start of the fourth quarter, the Bulldogs were up 34-10.
9/13: Mississippi State 35, South Alabama 3
The Bulldogs earned an easy win over South Alabama. Dak Prescott threw for 201 yards and one touchdown. He also went topped 100 yards on the ground again, finishing up with 139 yards on 14 carries. Mississippi State finished with 514 yards of total offense in the win.
9/6: Mississippi State 47, UAB 34
Mississippi State held off a scrappy UAB team for the win in its second contest of the season. Dak Prescott finished the game with 211 yards through the air and four touchdowns. He added 111 yards and a touchdown on the ground. Running back Josh Robinson was the top performer out of the backfield with 124 yards on 20 carries.
8/30: Mississippi State 49, Southern Miss 0
The Bulldogs opened up their season with a convincing win over the Eagles. Dak Prescott threw for 284 yards and four touchdowns. Josh Robinson led the way on the ground with 87 yards on 14 carries. On the afternoon, Mississippi State racked up 550 yards of total offense.
Ole Miss
11/22: Arkansas 30, Ole Miss 0
Ole Miss quarterback Bo Wallace left the game with a sprained ankle but managed to return. He is expected to play against Mississippi State. Wallace completed 16 of 31 passes for 235 yards with two interceptions. Ole Miss also lost three fumbles. Arkansas won its second consecutive SEC game after losing its previous 17 in conference play.
11/8: Ole Miss 48, Presbyterian 0
The Rebels racked up 640 yards of total offense to crush the Blue Hose at home. Jordan Wilkins had 171 rushing yards and Mark Dodson added 128 yards as Ole Miss rushed for 402 yards and four scores. Ole Miss had four touchdowns of at least 60 yards.
11/1:Auburn 35, Ole Miss 31
Receiver Laquon Treadwell fumbled before scoring a potentially game-winning touchdown with 1:30 remaining as Ole Miss dropped its second straight game. Treadwell also sustained a serious injury on the play. Bo Wallace threw for 339 yards and two touchdowns and added 56 yards and a score on the ground. Evan Engram, Vince Sanders and Treadwell each had at least 100 receiving yards.
10/25: LSU 10, Ole Miss 7
The Rebels suffered their first loss of the season at Death Valley. They took a seven-point lead late in the first quarter but did not score again. LSU mounted a 13-play, 95-yard fourth-quarter drive to take a 10-7 lead with 5:06 remaining. Ole Miss failed to score on either of its two drives in the last five minutes. Bo Wallace's interception with 1:17 left effectively ended the game.
Oct. 18: Ole Miss 34, Tennessee 3
Ole Miss started 4-0 in SEC play for the first time since 2003 with the win. The Rebels forced four turnovers, and at the time Ole Miss led the SEC with 20 forced turnovers overall. Freshman defensive end Marquis Haynes had 2.5 sacks and at the end of the game led the team with 6.5 total.
Oct. 11: Ole Miss 35, Texas A&M 20
The Rebels followed up their upset win over Alabama with a dominant performance against Texas A&M. Ole Miss took a 35-7 lead before the Aggies scored two touchdowns in the waning minutes. The Rebels defense forced three turnovers and returned one interception and one fumble for touchdowns. Bo Wallace finished the game with 178 passing yards, 50 rushing yards and three total touchdowns.
Oct. 4: Ole Miss 23, Alabama 17
Bo Wallace hit Jaylen Walton with a 10-yard TD pass with 2:54 remaining in the fourth quarter to lift the Rebels over the Tide. Wallace finished with 251 passing yards and three touchdowns to help Ole Miss come back from a 14-3 deficit and stay undefeated on the season.
Sept. 27: Ole Miss 24, Memphis 3
The Rebels dominated defensively against Memphis, and that was enough to overcome four turnovers for a 21-point victory. Bo Wallace completed 22 of 37 passes while throwing two interceptions, but the Ole Miss defense held the Tigers to just 104 yards of total offense (81 passing, 23 rushing). Rebels wide receiver Laquon Treadwell had 123 receiving yards and two touchdown grabs.
Sept. 13: Ole Miss 56, Louisiana-Lafayette 15
Bo Wallace threw for 316 yards and completed 23 of his 28 pass attempts. He tallied four touchdown passes in the first 35 minutes. Ole Miss also rushed for 214 yards in the game, and the Rebel defense forced Louisiana-Lafayette into four turnovers.
Sept. 6: Ole Miss 41, Vanderbilt 3
Ole Miss was dominant on both sides of the ball in its SEC opener. Bo Wallace captained an offense that produced 547 total yards, including Wallace's 320 passing yards. Vanderbilt was limited to just nine first downs and 167 yards. Ole Miss converted 10 of 15 third downs in the game and the Rebels held the ball for more than 37 minutes.
Aug. 28: Ole Miss 35, Boise State 13
The Rebels led just 7-6 after three quarters, but the offense exploded for 28 points in the fourth quarter to secure a victory in the Georgia Dome. Bo Wallace threw for 387 yards, four touchdowns and three interceptions. Cody Core and Laquon Treadwell each had more than 100 receiving yards, and the Ole Miss defense forced four turnovers.
