Louisville outscores Savannah State 41-7 in first half
No. 6 Louisville held Savannah Stateto just seven points in the first half of Monday's game. The Cardinals began the game on a 29-0 run and took a 41-7 lead into the locker room at halftime.
Savannah State is 2-2 on the year, with wins over Cleveland State and Winthrop.
The Tigers were held scoreless until Saadiq Muhammad made a free throw with 4:02 left in the half. They committed 16 turnovers in the half and were 2-26 on field goal attempts. Louisville blocked six shots, including four by ChinanuOnuaku.

Savannah State's football team lost to BYU 64-0 on Saturday, after trailing 51-0 at the half.
UPDATE:
Savannah State scored 19 second-half points, but went on to fall 87-26 to Louisville.
