Iowa State guard Bryce Dejean-Jones was arrested and placed in jail early Thursday on three misdemeanor charges.

UPDATE: According to Tommy Birch of the Des Moines Register and Travis Hines of the Ames Tribune, the drug charge against Dejean-Jones has been dropped.

Dejean-Jones, 22, was listed in the Story County jail records after arrests for hosting a drug house (marijuana), nuisance party regulations and a noise violation. The first is classified as a serious misdemeanor, according to a detention officer at the jail, and the last two charges are simple misdemeanors.

Dejean-Jones was held on a $1,600 bond, jail records show. The detention officer confirmed Dejean-Jones' identity through his birth date.

The transfer from UNLV is Iowa State's second-leading scorer at 17.1 points per game. The Cyclones face in-state rival Iowa on Friday night.
