Coach at juco power Butler CC resigns after 15 seasons
Troy Morrell, the head coach at junior college power Butler Community College, has resigned, the school announced Tuesday.
Morrell coached the Grizzlies for 15 seasons, winning 12 conference championships and three national titles.
Three different players won National Player of the Year honors during Morrell's tenure and many more were named All-Americans, including former LSU and current Tennessee Titans quarterback Zach Mettenberger.

Morrell was 154-22 as a head coach, the highest winning percentage in NJCAA history.
Morrell said he wishes to spend more time with his family and will be pursuing a career in private business.
