Virginia Tech DE Dadi Nicolas tweets he's returning for senior season
Virginia Tech defensive end Dadi Nicolas tweeted on Friday that he will return for his senior season.
In 12 games this season, Nicolas recorded nine sacks, 17.5 tackles for loss and 63 total tackles. He earned second-team All-ACC honors.
The 6-foot-4, 231-pound redshirt junior had reportedly submitted his name to the NFL Draft advisory board.
"Looking forward to coming back to school next year to accomplish all the goals I have set for myself and becoming the man God wants me to be & the team goals that my teammates and I desire to fulfill," Nicolas tweeted.
Virginia Tech is expected to return most of its key contributors along the defensive line next season. This season the Hokies (6-6) ranked first in the ACC in sacks and second in tackles for loss.
Virginia Tech will face Cincinnati (9-3) in the Military Bowl on Saturday.
