Utah OC Dave Christensen leaving to join Texas A&M's staff
Utah offensive coordinator Dave Christensen is leaving to join Texas A&M's coaching staff, a source confirmed to SI.com's Thayer Evans.
Christensen will become the Aggies' offensive line coach/run game coordinator. The news was first reported by 1280 the Zone.
It was announced earlier this month that Texas A&M offensive line coach B.J. Anderson would not return next season.
Reports of Christensen leaving the Utes come less than a week after SI.com reported two defensive assistants were leaving the team for Oregon State.
Utah hired Christensen in December 2013 after he was fired following five seasons as Wyoming's head coach. Christensen also served as Missouri's offensive coordinator from 2001 to 2008.
The Utes (9-4), who beat Colorado State in the Las Vegas Bowl on Saturday, finished 11th in the Pac-12 this season in yards per play.
