Rountree's injury means Wake Forest will likely have only nine scholarship players available for Sunday's game at Richmond. Freshman guard Mitchell Wilbekin is suspended and senior forward Daniel Green is reportedly still recovering from knee surgeries.
Wake Forest (6-6), picked to finish 12th in the ACC in a preseason media poll, opens conference play on Jan. 4 against Louisville.
