Texas guard Isaiah Taylor (wrist) cleared to return
Texas sophomore point guard Isaiah Taylor has been cleared to return to action after missing the last six weeks with a broken left wrist, the school announced Friday.
Taylor has not played since Nov. 20 against Iowa in the 2K Classic, missing 10 games. Taylor was injured late in the second half of the Iowa victory while being fouled driving to the basket.
Texas went 8-2 in his absence, losing to No. 1 Kentucky on Dec. 5 and suffering a three-point overtime loss at home to Stanford on Dec. 23.
