Ohio State quarterback Cardale Jones and wide receiver Jalin Marshall connected on an impressive passing play during Monday night's College Football Playoff championship game.
With under seven minutes remaining in the first quarter, Jones received a snap in the shotgun, faked a handoff and lofted a pass to Marshall near the sideline while rolling to his left.
With Erick Dargan applying tight coverage, Marshall leapt and secured the ball before falling to the turf.
The play went for 26 yards, and Ohio State scored later on the drive when Ezekiel Elliott rushed 33 yards for a touchdown to tie the game at 7.
