Court storming in college basketball has become a hot-button issues in recent years for safety concerns. Some schools and conference have banned students from entering the floor entirely. Last season, South Carolina was fined $25,000 for rushing the court after beating Kentucky. Several schools have also been fined for taking the field in football, including Arkansas this season after upsetting LSU.

With the blowout victory, Georgetown improved to 13-5 on the season. The Hoyas will be in action again on Saturday, when they take on the Marquette Golden Eagles at 2:30 pm ET.
