Davidson coach Bob McKillop said guard Jack Gibbs suffered a slight tear in his meniscus, according to a report from CBSSports.
Gibbs sat out the Wildcats' win over Dayton on Tuesday after injuring his knee in Saturday's loss to Richmond.
From the report:
When asked how long Gibbs might be out, McKillop responded and said, "Hopefully not long. Tyshawn Taylor had the same injury for Kansas a few years ago and came back in the same week."
Over 16 games this season, Gibbs has averaged 15.8 points, 4.5 rebounds and 4.9 assists per game.
Davidson (13-4) will play at George Mason on Saturday.
