UConn guard Sam Cassell Jr. is set to miss at least a week after suffering a stress fracture in his right tibia, according to Don Amore of the Hartford Courant.
Over 18 games this season, Cassell has averaged 3.9 points, 1.3 rebounds and 0.9 assists in 15.1 minutes per game.
Cassell had played only 21 minutes over UConn's last two games, wins over UCF and South Florida.
The Huskies (11-7) will play at Cincinnati on Thursday.
