Watch: Louisville's Montrezl Harrell reaches far to finish alley-oop
With Louisville locked in a tight battle with North Carolina on Saturday, Montrezl Harrell had arguably the biggest Cardinals highlight with his alley-oop in the second half of a 78-68 overtime win over the Tar Heels.
The pass from Louisville guard Chris Jones was errant, but Harrell used his 6-foot-8 frame to extend and catch onto the ball before finishing the slam.
The view from behind the hoop:
UNC entered halftime up 36-25, but Louisville rebounded with a strong second half. Both teams went scoreless over the final three minutes of regulation, sending the game into overtime. Louisville then pulled away with an 18-8 run.
Harrell tied for the game-high with 22 points on 8-of-16 shooting (6-of-11 on free throws) and finished with 15 rebounds.
