Michigan students trying to create second fight song
The University of Michigan has one of the more iconic fight songs in all of college sports, but "The Victors" could be getting company in the near future.
On Tuesday night, a proposal from students was put before the Central Student Government that could create a second fight song for the school, Lea Giotto of The Michigan Daily reports.
Michigan sophomore Adam Weiss explained that this new song would be unique, as well as incorporate some of the school's history. Weiss also said that rapper and producer David Banner has agreed to produce the song if the proposal is approved.

In addition to asking for funding from the school to complete the song, the students will also start to a funding campaign that is set to launch some time in March.
"The Victors" was composed in 1898 and was played first in public in 1899 and has since become a staple of Michigan.
