East Carolina hires Brad Davis to coach line, run game

GREENVILLE, N.C. (AP) East Carolina has hired Brad Davis as its offensive line coach and run game coordinator.

Davis was the co-offensive coordinator and line coach for James Madison last season, helping the Dukes rank 10th nationally in the championship subdivision with 484.6 total yards and 17th in scoring at 35.7 points per game.

The 34-year-old Davis also spent five years at Portland State.

He was an offensive lineman at Oklahoma under Bob Stoops, playing on the Sooners' 2000 national championship team.
