Villanova lands four-star recruit Omari Spellman
Four-star class of 2016 center Omari Spellman has committed to play for Jay Wright and the Villanova Wildcats, he announced on Friday.
According to 247 Sports, Spellman also was showing interest in Arizona, Cincinnati, Iowa and Indiana. He also received an offer from John Calipari and the Kentucky Wildcats back in October.

The 6'8" Spellman, out of MacDuffie School in Ohio, is considered the No. 4 center in the country according to the 247 Sports' Composite rankings and the No. 25 player overall in the country for the class of 2016.
Spellman is the first commitment of the 2016 class for Villanova and Jay Wright.
This season the Wildcats are currently 24-2 and ranked No. 6 in the AP rankings.
