Three people were arrested after a crowd gathered in East Lansing, Mich., early Saturday morning, hours after Michigan State defeated Oklahoma to advance to the Elite Eight, according to a report from the Detroit Free Press.

Police reported that approximately 500 people convened around 1 a.m. A fire was set in the middle of the road and glass bottles were tossed into the air, the report says. Video from the scene is embedded below.

From the report:

Police donned protective gear and entered the crowd, arresting a 20-year-old man from Livonia, a 19-year-old man from Plymouth, and a 19-year-old man from Marquette. The situation was in control "within 15 minutes of the fire starting," police said, and the crowd dispersed without the need for "chemical crowd management devices," police said.

Michigan State, a No. 7 seed, will face No. 4 seed Louisville on Sunday.
