UCLA unveils new ‘modernized’ football uniforms
UCLA unveiled new football uniforms that will be worn this season.
UCLA revealed its new football uniforms for the coming season on Thursday.
The uniforms offer a “modernized” take on the Bruins’ classic look.
The traditional blue and gold color scheme remains unchanged, but the jersey has an underlying pattern that is similar to other uniforms produced by Adidas.
The inside of the collar is inscribed with the phrase “Champions Made Here” and situated so that the player sees it when he puts on the jersey.
“The jersey's redesigned padlock system improves tension over the shoulder pads, while the bodymap fit adheres to the player, making it difficult for opponents to grab, hold or tackle,” UCLA explained in a press release.
