TCU football schedule: Opponents, times, TV
After a 12–1 campaign saw TCU win the Peach Bowl and climb to No. 3 in the season-ending rankings, the Horned Frogs will open the 2015 season Sept. 3 at Minnesota.
Quarterback Trevone Boykin enters as a top Heisman Trophy candidate after passing for a school-record 3,901 yards, rushing for 707 yards and scoring 42 touchdowns. Senior receivers Josh Doctson (65 catches for a school-record 1,018 yards and 11 touchdowns) and Kolby Listenbee (41 catches for 753 yards and four touchdowns) are also back, as is senior running back Aaron Green (129 carries, 922 yards and nine touchdowns).
Defensively, the Horned Frogs are a bit a of a question mark without last year’s leaders in tackles and interceptions. TCU finished first in the Big 12 in total defense (341.8 yards allowed per game) and scoring defense (19 points allowed per game) and returns junior linebacker Sammy Douglas. Senior defensive end James McFarland leads three returning linemen after posting a team-high seven sacks last season.
