Texas A&M football schedule: Opponents, times, TV
Texas A&M finished its 2014 campaign 8-5 in Kevin Sumlin's third season, capping off the year with a 45-37 win over West Virginia in the Liberty Bowl.
The Aggies open the 2015 season against Arizona State in the AdvoCare Texas Kickoff at NRG Stadium in Houston on Sept. 5.
The Aggies defense, which brings back six starters this season, was atrocious in 2014, allowing almost 37 points per game against conference foes. To help remedy the problem, A&M hired former LSU defensive coordinator John Chavis.
The offense will hand the keys over to quarterback Kyle Allen, who completed 62 percent of his passes for 1,322 yards with 16 touchdowns and seven interceptions in nine games during his freshman season.
