See Auburn’s massive new scoreboard on video shot by drone
See the new scoreboard at Jordan-Hare Stadium, home of the Auburn Tigers football program, on this video shot by a drone.
Auburn’s new scoreboard won’t be officially unveiled until the Tigers host Jacksonville State on Sept. 12, but one enterprising Alabama resident got a sneak peak by capturing stunning bird’s-eye video with a drone.
Auburn announced in February that it would pay nearly $14 million to install college football’s largest scoreboard at Jordan-Hare Stadium. The screen, which sits atop the stadium’s south end zone, is 190 feet wide and 57 feet tall, 3,169 square feet larger than Texas A&M’s. When the board is illuminated, its light can be seen from miles away.
A YouTube user named “Auburn UAV” uploaded footage of the illuminated scoreboard on Sunday.
