McNeese State vs. LSU: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
After an 8–5 season that ended in a Music City Bowl loss to Notre Dame, LSU kicks off its 2015 campaign on Sept. 5 against McNeese State. Among the key returners are starting quarterback Anthony Jennings and sophomore running back Leonard Fournette, who is expected to be a candidate for the Heisman Trophy. The Tigers are ranked No. 23 in SI.com's preseason poll.
After playing McNeese State, the Tigers will jump into the thick of their SEC schedule with games at Mississippi State and home against Auburn.
McNeese State compiled a 6-5 record last season and returns dual-threat quarterback Daniel Sams along with running back Ryan Ross. The Cowboys will hope to better their standing in the Southland conference and will likely get their toughest test of the season in LSU.
