Boise State quarterback Ryan Finley was helped off the field during Friday night's game against Idaho State with a right ankle injury.

Finley rushed for five yards before heading to the sidelines to receive treatment from team trainers. Finley left with trainers for the Idaho Sports Medicine Institute, likely to have an X-ray taken of his ankle.

Red shirt sophomore Tommy Stuart entered the game at quarterback.

Finley entered Friday night's game after completing 64.1% of his attempts in the first two games of the season. Boise State defeated Washington in its season opener before losing to BYU in Week 2. Finley tossed two interceptions in the fourth quarter of last week's game.
