Watch: LSU RB Leonard Fournette punished Auburn on Saturday
LSU running back Leonard Fournette absolutely eviscerated No. 18 Auburn on Saturday.
The sophomore rushed 19 times for 228 yards and three touchdowns, and added one catch for nine yards.
LSU defeated Auburn 45–21 in Baton Rouge, LA and outgained Auburn 485-260.
His 228 yards on the ground are the fifth most by an LSU player in a single game in school history. They’re also the most of any Tiger with 20 or fewer carries.
The 6’ 1” 230-pound Fournette broke off a 71-yard run on the first play from scrimmage to help set up the Tigers’ first score of the game.
In the second quarter, he trucked a defender en route to a 40-yard score.

In the third, Auburn still wasn’t having much luck tackling him.

Shortly after, he scored again.
How about one more TD for good measure.
