The family of Ohio State head coach Urban Meyer is upset with ESPN’s College GameDay program after it promoted a sign making fun of Meyer’s past health issues on Twitter.

The tweet, which has since been removed, featured a sign with a picture of Auburn head coach Gus Malzahn and the words, “If this crap keeps up.. I'm gonna fake a heart attack and go join the Big 10.” The photo was accompanied by the phrase, “Here is your winner of the Most “RT’d” (and Appropriate) @pizzahut GameDay Sign of the Day from Tuscaloosa.”

Meyer was hospitalized in 2009 with chest pains and later said the he had fought depression. He took a year off from coaching before taking the job at Ohio State.

Meyer's wife Shelley and daughters Gigi and Nicki all responded to GameDay on Twitter calling its actions shameful.
