Virginia Tech vs. ECU: Game time, live stream, TV coverage
After scoring 93 points over their last two games, the Virginia Tech Hokies will travel to East Carolina on Saturday for a matchup with the Pirates.
Virginia Tech dropped the highly anticipated opener against Ohio State but rebounded with big wins over Furman and Purdue, the latter on the road last weekend. Quarterback Brenden Motley fumbled three times against the Boilermakers, but threw two touchdowns, rushed for another and also nearly scored on a reception. Collectively, the Hokies rushed for 238 yards in the 51–24 win.
ECU has dropped two straight after winning its season opener against Towson. Over the last two weeks, ECU fell on the road to both Florida and Navy. Against the Midshipmen, the Pirates managed only 80 rushing yards on 21 carries, forcing quarterback Blake Kemp to throw 49 times. He completed 36 of those passes for 325 yards and one touchdown.
