The North Carolina Tar Heels will wear black uniforms for the first time in program history when they take on UCLA on Dec. 19.

The two storied teams are set to meet at the CBS Sports Classic at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, N.Y.

UNC unveiled the new look, which features its traditional light-blue and white colors on the piping and side panels, on Instagram Friday.

The Tar Heels finished last season ranked 12th in the Coaches Poll and 15th in Associated Press poll. Roy Williams' squad went 26–12 overall, including 11–7 in the ACC, and advanced to the Sweet 16 before losing to eventual national runner-up Wisconsin. Among Carolina’s notable returners are seniors Marcus Paige and Brice Johnson, junior Kennedy Meeks and sophomore Justin Jackson.
