LSU scored a fourth-quarter touchdown against Florida on a fake field goal and took a 35–28 lead after the extra point.
With the game tied at 28, Tigers kicker Trent Domingue set up for a 33-yarder. As the ball was snapped, he began to split left, catching a quick pass from the holder and breaking straight for the pylon. He escaped the Gators’ pursuit and reached the end zone untouched.
No. 6 LSU led No. 8 Florida 35–28 in the middle of the fourth, after Domingue converted the extra point.
